About

Safdarjung Enclave is one of the most significant territories of south west Delhi. Safdarjung, named after the Nawab of Awadh, is one of the oldest colonies in the capital and dates back to the Partition era. In 1960, the Delhi Land Federation built an enclave, marking Ring Road and Hauz Khas as its northern and southern boundaries respectively. The Safdarjung Enclave houses Safdarjung's tomb, the Safdarjung Airport, a plethora of government and MNC offices, bungalows of politicians and plush housing estates. The Safdarjung Road runs right across this enclave connecting it to the rest of the city.
