About

Paperbarks and mangrove forests line the many creeks and rivers in tranquil, unspoiled Russell River National Park. In this area the meandering Russell River joins forces with the Mulgrave River before entering the sea in a shared estuary. The access road runs between the beach and Bluemetal Creek up to the creek mouth. Bush camp in one of five secluded sites next to the beach. Fish at the mouth of the picturesque Bluemetal Creek mouth. Be aware of estuarine crocodiles.
