RUYC has just been awarded RYA Training Centre status for Powerboating. Royal Ulster Yacht Club was established in 1867 and is situated on the south shore of Belfast Lough on the edge of Bangor town. The club has a rich history of yacht cruisingand racing. Sir Thomas Lipton challenged for The Americas Cup five times as a Member of the Club. The Club office is open Mon-Fri 09.00am-17.00.
