One of Lisbon's newest restaurants is also one of its loftiest, positioned as it is on the top floor of the five-star Altis Avenida Hotel. The city views are inspiring, especially at night when the downtown district is illuminated. Chef Carlos Marques has designed a menu that celebrates authentic Portuguese gastronomy tempered with French and Italian influences. He is also known for his hearty game dishes such as rack of lamb with deep-fried battered vegetables, baked potatos and lavender sauce. Another recommendation is confit of suckling pig with creamed potatos and crispy leek. A selective wine list complements the choice.
