Rosario Cathedral

The history of this place goes as behind as 400 plus years, this place is where the first church for Portugal people was built. Portuguese attacked Mangalore in 15th century AD and established themselves here. Infact this place is a cathedral; initially it was a small catholic church that was built for the Portuguese people in the 15th century and was popularly known as "Church of Labors". The Portuguese built a fort named by "Fort of St. Sebasian", today it has become the place for the deputy commissioners office.
