March 2009, Mr. Johnson Tambunan a Batak and Mr. Roland Karasek a German, met at a printing shop in Medan. Johnson was there because he was looking for some adverts for his juice business. Roland was in the printing shop because of business cards. Mr. Roland was seeking for an opportunity to open a German Restaurant in Medan.After that, They met again and discussed this issue. few days later, they put their money together for starting a German Restaurant. On February 17 th  2010, they finally opened the first German Restaurant in Medan, North Sumatra. Since a long time Batak and German people had a good realationship.The Roland's German Restaurant shall keep this friendship.
