Located just five minutes from the city centre, nestling in two acres of beautiful gardens is The Rockery, a fantastic eatery for all ages and tastes. Though the buildings and surroundings echo shades of its Edwardian past, the restaurant's menu is thoroughly modern with tarragon trout salad, chicken and wild mushroom risotto, and the ever-tempting crème brulee with a seasonal fruit base. Newly refurbished premises allow streams of sunlight to filter through the glass roof. In addition, there are fabulous views of the gardens, and seating for 300. The Rockery is licensed for civil marriage ceremonies, and can cater for large groups buffet style or seated. There are child-friendly menus, so bring all the generations with you.
