Belfast’s new eatery takes the name of the iconic department store that once stood in its place, overlooking the impressive façade of City Hall. Offering splendid views of the historical building and well-known Chichester Street, the lofty terrace provides the perfect spot for people-watching over supper or a freshly brewed pot of tea. Breakfast is available from 8am at the Urban Deli, and the light lunches (think warm toasties and fresh salads) and decadent dinners that will tempt you back for a second visit are served from 5pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Try the 100% Glenarm shorthorn burger (with spiced tomato relish and buttermilk onion rings) or the Rockvale chicken supreme, with dry cured bacon, herb crushed comber spuds, peas, shoots and chestnut mushroom cream. They also offer a selection of cocktails to sip on the terrace.
