Not far from Piazza Maggiore in a small side street on the Via Ugo Bassi, is this lovely restaurant that has been serving tourists and locals alike for over 60 years. The decor of the Ristorante Il Fagiano is simple yet refined, with a spacious interior, although in summer it is also possible to eat outdoors. The cuisine is typical of the region but there is also some great fish, tasty pizzas and original pizzotti with tomato and Water Buffalo mozzarella. There are both Italian and regional wines to choose from.
