Ristorante Giglio

Piazza del Giglio 2 Cuisines: Italian

About

Run by the same family who owns Buca di Sant'Antonio, the Giglio serves Lucchese classics on the main square of the same name. Be sure to book an outdoor table in advance, unless there is a concert on the square that night, in which case it's best to steer clear. The Giglio makes excellent crostini, especially the one with prosciutto della Garfagnana, but it is most proud of its homemade pasta. For a Lucca classic, try the maccheroni di farro al sugo di coniglio, a whole grain pasta in a rabbit sauce.
