About

This old Bolognese restaurant which has taken the customary name for underground restaurants of Buca, can be found at a small crossing on the Via dell'Archiginnasio not far from the historic Basilica di San Petronio and the Piazza Maggiore. This restaurant, which curiously has an initial entrance near the Chiesa della Vita and a second entrance under the so-called della morte portico has two well-looked after rooms decorated in an elegant, classical manner, offering typical Bolognese cooking accompanied by grace and courteousness. The most popular classical dishes are: Tortelloni filled with ricotta and sage, Baked Lasagna Verde Verdi, Capriccio alla San Petronio, Pork Chops alla bolognese, Deep-Fried Seafood Platter, and for dessert, Zabaglione, Chocolate Mousse or Lemon Mousse.
