It's the best restaurant on Isla Contadora, but you'll pay top dollar to enjoy it. Geralds serves mostly European dishes with dashes of Panamanian flavor. The restaurant is open-air and tastefully designed, with wood tables and a bar, and is located on a sloping hill near the airport. There isn't a view, but the ambience is pleasant and refined. You can have the fresh catch of the day with a choice of sauces such as hollandaise or white wine; jumbo prawns fried in beer batter or served with pineapple juice and cucumber ragout; filet mignon with green pepper sauce; or beef stroganoff. Their fish stew is a delicious starter or light meal. During busy weekends, it's best to make dinner reservations.
