This restaurant follows the new tendency in Quito, towards out of town venues. In spite of being somewhat isolated, this place is surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Parque Metropolitano. This small and cozy house has a small parking lot and pretty gardens around it. In its interior the elegant furniture goes perfectly with the green and pink pastel tones of the decor. It has a social area on the ground level and a reserved area and bar on the second floor. International cuisine is included in Cantagallo's menu, although its specialty is the Chilean food. Some interesting dishes are Manchas al gratín, the Salmon en finas hierbas, or if you prefer, the salmon in caper sauce, accompanied by exclusive Chilean wine from the house cellar. Delicious desserts, creative entrees, and a variety of cocktails are some of the elements which make Cantagallo a unique place to enjoy genuine Chilean gastronomy in the middle of the world.
