Restaurant Paul is located near Pont Neuf (new bridge), which is the oldest bridge, as it was built in 1607. Run by a young chef, the food is basically French Bistro, moderately priced and is served in an antique room. The restaurant is famous for its pastries and hot oven fresh bread. Two regular patrons of this restaurant are French actors Yves Montand and Simone Signoret, who live just above it. You can sit indoors or outdoors on the terrace and watch the Pont Neuf while having a delicious meal of salmon in Dutch sauce, sweet and salty fruit cuts, sorbets, duck or ox meat.
