Restaurant and Gartenlokal Friedberger Warte
Friedberger Landstrasse 414
About
Friedberg Warte (watchtower) was erected in 1478 as a protection and observation point for the new settlements in the northern part of the town. From here, the watchman could see the surrounding area and, if necessary, give a warning signal to the town by flag or torch. It managed to survive the Second World War without any major damage and is now home to a traditional pub, Restaurant and Gartenlokal Friedberger Warte, famous for its apple wine. The restaurant serves a delectable variety of soups, salads, Hessian specialties and desserts. Check website for further details.
