Relax at Gärtnerplatz, Gärtnerplatz (U-Bahn U1 & U2: ''Fraunhoferstraße''). The circular Gärtnerplatz square is one of Munich's most impressive architectural masterpieces. During warm summer evenings hundreds of people gather in the middle of the square itself or in one of the surrounding cafés to enjoy a few local brews and life in general. There is a supermarket right at the square in case you forgot to bring along drinks.
