As with nearly every restaurant on St-Laurent between Milton and Sherbrooke, Red Thai sports an eye-catching décor. More rare for the area is its first-class kitchen, which offers a very reasonable table d'hôte: soup, choice of appetizers (shrimp or meat dumplings), lemon sorbet, and one of seven main courses. Choose from sautéed sliced filet mignon, sautéed assorted Oriental vegetables or chicken in green curry. Put out the fire with a pint of imported beer or a selection from the very reasonable wine list.
