The  Red Fort was the residence of the  Mughal emperors  of India. The  fort  is located in the centre of Delhi, and is open to the public and now houses a number of museums. For almost 200 years, it served as the home of emperors and their households,as well as the ceremonial and political centre of the Mughal government until 1857. It has been the setting for events which have had a critical impact on its geo-cultural region.Entry Fee Rs.150/-(For foreigners)
