Darjeeling the road zig zags up a steep mountain, and there is one lookout down to the intersection of the Great Rangeet River and little Rangeet River,the muddy brown of the little Rangeet River which transects the lowlands and the murky green of the Great Rangeet River which is glacial fed from the Himalayas. The lookout is called Lovers Meet View Point. We had some chunna (chickpea-lentil come curry salsa with bits of tomato, chilli and onion in it) served on a Teak leaf pressed into the shape of a bowl. It was really tasty, and the good thing was that the leaf was biodegradable!
