Established by Raja Umed Singh in 18th century, Rang Mahal was created to serve the residence of royal women. It is a perfect amalgam of British and Mughal architecture. The walls of the palace are adorned with Punjab hill style paintings narrating the stories from Lord Krishna's life. The palace also houses a handicraft shop which sells handmade handkerchief, woollen shawls and ethnic slippers.
