The Rabbit Nursery "Zaķīši" ("Zakishi") - the biggest rabbit nursery in Latvia, there sometimes lived more than 4 000 rabbits at the same time. "Zaķīši" is the plase there you can walk in the rabbit garden, place there you can see more than 70 free-living rabbits, you can watch, play or feed them with special carrots and cabbage, which you can buy in the nursery. Also there you can find another animals: for example, goats, sheeps, horses, such birds as ducks, gooses, hen. It's traditional Latvian farm, there you can find custom farm building. The nursery is situated in quiet place near Abava river. This is the place with unexplored wilderness (wild forest, beaver's lake, heron's bog). If you are active person "Zaķīši" will offer riding, rowing, hiking along wild forest with guide and some more events.
