While seafood features prominently on the menu here, there's plenty more for you to try. You should definitely start things off with one of their excellent ceviches. But for a main course, I prefer the steak a la criolla, which comes bathed in onions and peppers. If you do opt for fish, I'd go for the fresh mountain trout, trucha al ajo macho, served in a rich garlic sauce. With simple, glass-topped tables and minimal decor, there's not much ambience here. Nevertheless, it's almost always full and lively.
