In the heart of Mount Vernon, this restaurant has been dishing out the beef since 1965. The prime rib is the best in town; the Caesar salad is dressed to perfection; and the lobster bisque is rich and creamy. If you want seafood, there are crab cakes and fish. Everything is a la carte. But tables are squeezed together, making intimate conversation impossible.
