Pretoria Transvaal Museum

About

Transvaal Museum is the major curate of the world's largest Plio-Pleistocene fossils that include the extraordinary relics of the Cradle of Humankind, the Sterkfontein, Kromdraai and Swartkrans. Therapsids which are mammal-like reptiles from the Permian Period, gigantic dinosaur and whale skeletons including the enormous jaws of extinct sharks that were reconstructed are all found here. Tranvaal Museum is also known as its much current name of Ditsong Museums of South Africa.
