These nighttime expeditions will take you in search of blues and makos. If you catch one, be prepared to use some muscle as these sharks often take over one hour to reel onboard. Before casting your line however, don't forget to obtain a license. This establishment sells the California State Fishing License, required for anyone aged 16 and older.
