Renting a self drive cruiser is one of the best ways to cruise Ireland and explore the magnificent interconnecting waterways of the River Shannon. Pleasure Cruisers give passengers the choice of three boats ranging from a two berth to a six berth cruiser. All boats come with a well equipped galley, bedding, towels, life jackets, charts and a flat screen TV/DVD player. Previous boating experience is not necessary as instructors will spend as much time as necessary to teach and ensure passengers are comfortable handling the boat before they hand over the controls. Pleasure Cruisers tailor their services to passenger’s requirements, offering a personal touch and are happy to give passengers advice on their itinerary. There is a lot on offer as well as relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of the area. The waterways are lined with history, culture and lots of activities including golf, walking and cycling trails, and not to mention villages with restaurants, bars and traditional Irish pubs. The office is located at The Craft Shop, Rooskey, County Leitrim. It is approximately 135 kilometres from Dublin and 275 kilometres from Cork. Nearby Dromod Railway Station makes it easy to reach by train from most cities.
