You will find the Plaza de Lavapiés (Lavapiés Square) in Madrid's most multicultural neighborhood. Lavapiés was originally Madrid's Jewish quarter, later becoming home to a high percentage of Madrid's immigrant population. Today the square is a popular local meeting space, as the area has many alternative and ethnic cafes and bars.
