Plainpalais Flea Market
boulevard Georges Favon 46 Phone: Not AvailableAbout
On Saturdays and Wednesdays, one of the largest flea markets of Switzerland takes place in the Plaine de Plainpalais. In the morning, the dealers start opening their stands, laying out their rugs and taking their tables out of their vans to expose their goods. Old and new books, incense, paintings, CDs and vinyl records are only some of the many goods one can find at the Plainpalais flea market. If you are planning on going to the flea market, make sure to wear comfortable shoes and check the weather as it is closed on rainy days. The market is also open every first Sunday of the month.
