Located in the central square, the Place du General de Gaulle is a major landmark in the city of Nice. With important buildings like the Old Stock Exchange, a number of restaurants, pubs and bars around the Place du General de Gaulle also has the Godess's Column, an iconic structure. The Place du General de Gaulle is also home to the weekly held Marché de la Libération.
