Kiama Harbour (believe it or not) was once an active and very busy Quarry. To deal with the large demand a Pilots Cottage was used. In modern times the Cottage has been used as a museum displaying Kiama's rich history. The Pilots Cottage Museum is run by the Kiama Historical Society.
