Legend has it that this is the original Bellanwilla Temple as it is in the middle of a paddy field which could have been a lake some years back. However, the place has a Bo-tree which has a long history and a temple was built around this bo tree a few years back. Situated in the middle of the vast marsh lands of Attidiya, the scenic beauty of the location is undiscribable. Def. a place to see.
