Pikey Dada (4,065m) is one of the tallest hills of Solu. The name Pikey is derived from the name of the Sherpa Clan deity. We can view the beautiful mountains such as Sagarmatha (Everest), Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna, Gaurishanker, Lhotse, Numbur, Khatang, Karyolung, Shishapangma, Mera Peak, Thamserku, Lhotseshar, Nuptse and even Ama Dablam. from Pikey. It also offers a breathtaking sunrise and sunset views during good weather. The local people hold celebrations to worship their clan god, the eastern Chyabo Pikey, as Pikey Hlapchen Karbu during the month of July. Apart from trekking at Pikey, we can undertake various tourism activities such as paragliding, mountain biking, bird watching, pilgrimage and meditation. There are various options for the trail to be taken to Pikey. A trail through Jiri - Chaulakharka - Ngaur leads to the Pikey Danda. Similarly, there is another trail which starts from Phaplu passing through Kerung, Pattale, Jhapre, Pikey peak, Lamajura, Junbesi and ends at Salleri. From Pikey, one can continue on to the Dudhkunda or there are other alternatives entries like Rumjatar and Jiri to Pikey Cultural Trail. If we take Dudhkunda Cultural Trail via. Takshindu after reaching Pikey, one has the opportunity to observe the beautiful settlements and landscapes.
