A homely pub with well-worn floors, dark wood furniture and beams, the Pickled Liver could have been transported from a village in England. The walls are decorated with shirts, scarves and banners from the English football league, and televisions relay football matches and other sports. There is an extensive menu including bangers and mash, pies, baked potatoes, roasts, snacks, and a range of Thai food. Kilkenny, Guinness, Heineken and Chang are all on draft as well as wines, cocktails, spirits, and soft drinks. The place is lively on Thursday evening, also known around here as "Quiz Night", and for live football matches.
