The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as Hokkien mee , ikan bakar (barbecued fish), asam laksa and curry noodles . Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian , Malay , and Bangladeshi traders.

This famous street segregated into Jalan Pudu and Jalan Sultan,Its very busy market, full of stalls from every direction,you will get all kind of Stuff like T-shirts, bags and clothing , Be care full so many people report issues with pick pockets here.There are lot of vendors with colorful foods, I had my best meal in this area, after some great shopping,Its a Great area to explor."
