Peninsula Hot Springs is the first natural hot springs and day spa centre in Victoria located just 90 minutes from Melbourne. Natural thermal mineral waters flow into the pools and private baths from an underground aquifer 637 metres below the surface, providing the idyllic setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Each pool is labeled with its temperature, and the general rule is, the closer to the top of the pool, the hotter the water. The water from the springs also contains a whole heap of beneficial minerals. It is said that bathing in the pools can have a positive effect on bruising, tension, fatigue and even infertility. It was certainly a bonus for my sore back. Unfortunately, bathing is not recommended for pregnant women.
