Parque Municipal Americo Renee Giannetti

The Americo Renne Giannetti Municipal Park, with 180,000 m2 of fenced and with watchtowers at all entrances, is the main park of Belo Horizonte . He is in the city center , next to Avenida Afonso Pena. In March 1894, the construction commission that settled in Belo Horizonte, under the direction of engineer Aaron Reis , included within the measures taken, the decision to transform the farm of William Ricardo Vaz de Mello is a leisure area for the population, giving rise to the Municipal Park. The initial project was designed by architect gardener Paul Villon , one born in France and also a student of the French naturalist Glaziou responsible for the garden-park of Acclamation, in Rio de Janeiro.
