About
Parco delle Valli, a 20-hectare park in the Montesacro area of northern Rome, has opened to the public after two years of work costing €300,000. The new park has been constructed on the former Pratone delle Valli between Via Conca D'Oro and Via Val D'Ala, an area that had been destined for building work until campaigns by residents and environmental groups halted the development. The park has now been planted with 1,500 trees and equipped with areas for children and dogs, benches, gazebos and picnic tables as well as a 1.5-km cycle path that connects with the cycle path along the Aniene river.
