Parc de l'Espanya Industrial is a large 11 acre space which was formerly occupied by a textile factory. The park consists of a large plaza, an artificial lake flanked by a stretch of mud, fountains, play areas, watchtowers and sculptures. Among the sculptures is a statue of Neptune that stands in between the lake and the prominent 'The Dragon Without Saint George', a cast iron art piece that also serves as a slide for the kids. In short the park is worth a visit when in Barcelona. Open everyday at 10a.
