Papan Waterfalls

Papan is a small town about 35 minutes outside Ipoh city. It has a few rows of prewar buildings and had been used for filming period dramas for TV and movies. It is nestled inside a former tin mining area and surrounded by raintrees. A little distance from the township is where the waterfalls are located. Clean fresh water gushes down the mountains. Good spot for picnic and also fishing. A remarkable and fascinating trip to the outdoors and also to look at some relics from the past.
