La Palousa is, in fact, the new name for the famous Actoria Studio nightclub. The name may have changed, but the atmosphere is still as good, if not better. It is one of the main meeting places for young people in Nice. Early in the evening, you're more likely to find people in the 25-45 year age range, who come to dine in Palousa's restaurant, staying on afterwards to party. Then come the indefatigable 18-25 year-olds who are perfectly content to dance the night away, non-stop, until dawn. You are just about always guaranteed to have a good time here.
