The Palmerston and Rural Markets provide a great evening of family entertainment, exotic foods, jewellery, arts and craft, plants, local bands and buskers and much more. There are in excess of 160 stalls in a new and vibrant central business district setting, with plenty of space for festive activities. The markets are home of the Palmerston and Rural Markets Community and Schools Talent Competitions. Watch the children dance with the clowns to popular tunes and listen as the local disc jockey spins discs catering to all ages.Held on Friday evenings during the dry season from April to October with live entertainment, buskers, food and craft stalls opened.
