Palaruvi Waterfalls, 40th highest river falls when counted among Indian waterfalls and 3rd highest among the list of Kerala's waterfalls. The waterfalls is inside the forests near Aryankavu of Kollam district, Kerala. Its a very popular attraction for locals in kollam and trivandrum districts. it is located about 80 kms from trivandrum. over the years the waterfall is active only during the monsoon seasons. since no proper security arrangements are there it is not advicable to travel alone,or get into the water fall area. ktdc has a small motel on the main road .
