Outback Steakhouse, a new outlet in Dubai Festival City that hails from North America (despite its carefully cultivated Aussie image), is essentially the Chili's of steakhouses. The interior is filled with wooden booths in a typical diner-style ensemble, and the lighting is low and a little dingy. Still, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and families with noisy children in tow are made to feel welcome.
