Opposite the present Somnath Mandir, is a small, pink painted structure that bears witness to the history of the Somnath Mandir. This temple built by the Maratha Queen Ahilyabai Holkar, who was moved by the sad state of affairs of the original Somnath Mandir Complex. The main Shivling is below ground level, and one can perform Pooja and Abhishek assisted by the Pujaris here. Must-visit temple.
