Greatest living sculptor of Brazil, Pernambuco Francisco Brennand has works scattered throughout the reef - the most famous is the obelisk at Ground Zero. The work of the artist can be appreciated up close in his pottery workshop, open to visitors. Installed in an area of 15 thousand square meters in an old colonial plantation, space displays hundreds of sculptures with fantastic themes exposed in sheds and a huge garden with avenues and lakes. In 2004 the complex has gained another reason to be visited: the Accademia area, with drawings and paintings of Francis himself.
