Feel like you're walking on water on this nearly 2,000-foot-long pier. Take a stroll down the longest wooden pier jutting out into the Pacific along the entire West Coast. At 1,942 feet long, the Oceanside Pier is the best place to view the incredible sunsets along this stretch of coast. Another fun way to while away the day--try your hand at fishing from the pier. No fishing license is required. And be sure you stop in at Ruby's Diner , located at the end of the Pier. Order up a super-thick milkshake for a cool treat.
