Sunday saw more action in the Winter League Matchplay, and with a quarter-final place up for grabs, the standard of play was extremely high, all the matches producing a birdie feast, The two veterans Micky McLaughlin and Seph McGrory  were taken all the way to the 21 st hole before finally closing out their match against the strong pairing of Stephen MacLochlainn and David Robb.
