Nomad is a busy modern café-bar in the heart of Ubud that has a clearly European influence running through both its décor and cuisine. It has a contemporary design with stylish minimalist seating combining efficiently with an old-world cocktail bar as its most commanding feature. The restaurant is spacious with indoor mezzanine dining and its own street-side courtyard. Local cuisine has been given a modern twist infused with ingredients such as falafel, porcini mushrooms and guacamole, and the best way to sample it all is with a platter of delicious Balinese tapas such as corn fried perkedel and spicy fruit rujak. There are numerous Mediterranean favorites to choose, including chicken Milanese or paella, and even a small selection of Mexican specialties.
