About

Serious plant lovers will love the University of British Columbia. Near the UBC Botanical Garden is the Nitobe Memorial Garden, a beautiful traditional Japanese garden considered among the top five Japanese gardens in North America and one of the most authentic Tea and Stroll Gardens outside of Japan. Cherry blossoms peak in April and May, the irises bloom in June, and autumn brings colorful leaf displays. The garden is free from mid-October to mid-March.
