Nimmanhaemin Road is Chiang Mai's center for unique shops and boutiques, and Nimman Promenade is a nugget of this specialty shopping area. Most of the shops sell designer clothes and shoes for women at very reasonable prices. Other notable shops include A-Ka in Doho Style, a modern fashion boutique inspired by the Akha hill tribe style; Garden of Love, a paper mache fairy shop; Chakhrita, a shop selling old-fashioned electric fans, antiques, and Lanna art; and Product Development Co. Ltd. which sells small crafts made from old Japanese Kimonos. The shopping center is best marked by the Nimmanhaemin branch of Wawee Coffee, a Thai coffee chain offering only beans from northern Thailand.
